Question about Gateway FPD2275W LCD Monitor
I have the above receiver and am trying to connect it to a Koss DVD player. For some reason there is no color coming thru to the TV. The DVD player works when connected to another TV and when I connect another DVD player to the receiver there is no problem with the color. I am connecting via RCA jacks to the video in and the L and R audio.
Any ideas? I appreciate the help.
You have the composite RGB jacks on DVD hooked up to component yellow video and red/white audio jacks on receiver or display. try just yellow to yellow and see if color comes back, I just did this accidentally on my cheap magnavox DVD to my Viewsonic 30"

If your TV is a higher quality set that is HD capable, the problem may be in using RCA jacks. I suggest buying some component video cables. Some higher quality DVD players and TVs do not respond well to cheaper video feed wires. The only other option is a problem with the DVD player since the picture is coming through fine through other DVD sets. Try the wires first, its your cheapest option.
