as long as you dont add things to the flash card you can recover usually everything on the card ... there are many photo recovery programs available ..
google "recover deleted photos" for a list of most ..
the files arent actually erased .. only the file names have been modified .. when you format it just marks all the space on the card as "available" ... the photo recovery software finds the files and reconstructs the names or partial names .. even if the files are damaged they can often be recovered .. ..
