Screen stock on bad track

My daughter got a MP3 Scandisk Sansa and it is frozen on bad track can not turn it off or anything?

Did you try holding the power button for 20secs or try holdingthe play and power buttons for 20secs or try removing the 4 scews in the back of the metal sliver plate in the back of the mp3 and remove the battery.

I think that what u could do is try to reset it. To do it. Slide the power button and keep it in place for about 10 seconds. It should turn itself off. Then turn it on the usual way

Hold the power button for at least 15 seconds to initiate a hard boot. It will turn off and then it should turn on again automatically and go through presenting the 5 balls (Photos, Sound etc...)

ScanDisk Sansa C150- ScanDisk Logo blinking and can't do anything

my mp3 player don't work properly..
when i plug mp3 players in my pc it work properly... after that when i unplug it my mp3 player doesnot work upto now.
when i switch on that it will display only scandisk logo.. then that it will not work.
then to switch off that i should take out battery.. you have any solution..
after that the pc also don't detect that player

"Bad Track" error, though not able to turn off, or get away from that screen

I encountered the same problem with my Sansa mp3 player. To fix it, you'll have to reset your mp3 player, meaning all songs and files will be deleted when you format the mp3 player. To do so: Connect the mp3 player to your computer Go to My Computer Double Click on your mp3 player HD You'll get a Warning box saying "Formatting Will Erase ALL data on the device. This may include any settings stored on the device. To Format device, click on OK. Click OK Wait until completed with Format and you are "Bad track" free! Reload your songs using whatever software you use. I use Windows Media Player and was happy to see the songs I had on my mp3 player. All I had to do was sync them again. Hope this helps! When asked I use Windows Media player to sync so I still have that on my playlist. To get rid of
