Cannot load ANY media files!

you may need windows xp sp2 because I had the same problem and I had to install windows xp sp2 because with sp3 which I had at the time I purchased the device it did not want to work. It is said in the manual that you need windows sp2 for it to work and be recognized.

Sandisk is not detected in Vista operating system notebook

See the FAQ here - http://www.sansa.com/support/sansa_view/faqs

The most common reason for this problem is not having the latest Windows Media Player installed, or having a Windows OS version that is not supported by the Sansa player.
The Sansa players support Windows XP SP2 and Windows Vista and above. If your operating system version is supported by the Sansa player:
SOLUTION 1 – Download and install the latest Windows Media Player

SOLUTION 2 – If that didn’t help, and you are running Windows Vista, apply the following hotfix - KB940199
SOLUTION 3 – If that didn’t help, download and Install the MTP Porting Kit (click here)
SOLUTION 4 – If that didn’t help, try connecting the device to the PC using MSC mode

View/c200: Turn on & press and hold the rewind button while plugging into the PC

Iv got a sansa fuze mp3 player and it wont install it says theres a problem installing the specified service does not exist as an installed service . pls help thank you

The fuze only operates in Windows XP SP2 and Vista. If you have either of these operating systems, you may need to update your Windows Media Player or install Windows Hotfixes. Check the Sansa website for more info.

Cant get past cd installation

Grab the software from Sandisk's website and try again. If that fails, upgrade your XP to SP2 or 3.

USB connection problem

my YP-U3 player will not connect via my USB port. When plugged in to a port that connects my digital camera normally it first says on screen "USB Connecting" then changes after 2 to 3 seconds to "disconnected - Charging". it has fully charged and no change. I have checked the hold switch is disengaged. the media studio software is installed ok and the portable devices functions are greyed out. I cannot find the device on my pc. I am running Windows XP SP2. I will be returning it to the store where it was purchased very soon if i cannot find a solution. I notice there are a lot of people who have posted similar problems that have not recieved solutions.ya i have th same problem im using window xp 2
