Does your ps3 power up but no video?

Have you tried doing a video check and reset with the standard def cable that came with the PS3?

I have a HDMI problem with my PS3. I have it

Try entering Recovery Mode and choose "Restore Default Settings".

If that doesn't help, you may have an HDMI port failure - which will require returning the unit to Sony or sending it to a third-party PS3 repair shop.

I have a new ps3 slimline,cant get a connection t my samsung HDTV

What you need to do is use a different tv or scart/av cable first, go to settings and reduce the resolution its because the tv cannot handle such a high res, if this dosent work, please post back, Regards

Powers on but won't feed through to the tv

you either have the wrong channel

if you have a tv make sure you have it set on tv if you have an hdtv set it on hdtv.

or the AV cable is not plugged into the right colors or you dont have the VIDEO cable plugged in

also ask a friend who has a ps3 to borrow there AV cable your AV cable might not work anymore.

Interference audio and on-screen

Try an HDTV. If you only have a standard TV, try a different one. I had the same problem and then bought a 1080p 16:9 aspect ratio HDTV and everything cleared up completely (sound and video). Update the ps3 to version 2.2 as well (just came out last night). Good luck!!
