Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I have a hitachi 42 dh 69 plasma that I can't get hooked up to a new dvd/surround system. I can get the video feed on a dvd to the TV, but when I use the audio out jacka to HIFI I cannot get audio to play through the system. Seem like a no brainer
Most plasmas have set of RCA jacks beside or near each video input, be it a yellow composite jack, component (RGB) or VGA (15 pin monitor cable) there should be a red &white set of jacks beside each input. There should be a r&w set marked audio out.thats what you want goin' to the Hi-Fi a/v input. All this is on the assumption that the plasma has no speakers of it's own. if it does, you may need to go to set up menu and check audiosettings on the tv.Your best bet is to go HDVI between the DVD/Sound if you have the ability on both units. Better vid and audio that way.
