No water going in dishwasher, have che...

This happened to a GE machine of mine once, and the problem was a stuck float..
Inside the dishwasher tub, in the front-left corner under the silverware tray, there's a float that keeps the dishwasher from overfilling. If this is stuck in the "up" position, then the dishwasher will always believe that it's full of water already.

It should be able to move up and down (total travel of 2-3 inches) freely and smoothly.
