Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player
My mp3 player was freezing, so I decided to delete all the songs on it to clean it up. I had a lot of kids songs for my daughter. I wanted to put just the ones I like in it, but when I deleted all the songs 119 songs are still in it and the media player doesn't recognized that. Now I don't know what to do. Does anyone have the same problem?
Hi, ritza again
I have a new problem. I lost my disk for installing my device. So, I went to the devices website and downloaded their software and no problem. However, somewhere along the line my device was plugged in and now its stuck on refresh database. I been able to turn it off and restart it, but its still stuck on refresh database. I tried taking out the battery and still its stuck on refresh database. I don't know what to do! help!

Hi, I'm ritza and yes I had the problem and posted it on 12/29/07. Thanks for your response and your absolutely right. However, I have a friend that is a computer tech repair guy and he told me the same thing you did, except his way is a little easier. He said plug in your device and then go to my computer and you should see your device there. Once there right click on the icon and it takes you to format and it resets the mp3. Again thanks alot for your response.

Go ahead and do this, in case the DB is corrupted:
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx
