This could be a bas sensor too. Open the door of the camera and point a hair dryer at it from about 12" away. Let that run for 5-10 minutes and see if the message clears. If not, then the internal sensor has a bad connection to it or is defective. In either case, the unit will require service. Since the alignment of the internal mechanism is delicate, I would not recommend a self-service attempt.
