Where can i get a Thor PLS 602 dishwasher fixed the hinge on the door has broken. Washer still works I just would like the door to be right.

Replace the part that is leaking. It sounds though that the mains water in going in even when turned off? In that case, the leak is in the Water Inlet Valve. It isn't sealing shut.

sounds like the hinges were bent, can try to straighten them out, you may need to disassemble door panel. Hope that helped.

You can try the ole faithful knucklehead approach(which I have done in the past, without much success, but I felt better) by
giving the door a bit of an upward yank? try not to yank hard enough to lift the washer off the floor or break it. Either way we know what caused the problem, so it will be with the hinges bent or broken. Hope this helped Tim

You will need to pull the dishwasher out about 12" to 18" to be able to get to the springs & rope links. Many dishwashers use a "rope link" to connect between the spring and the door hinge; and in others, the door springs connect directly to the door hinges. Once you pull the dishwasher out, you will easily see what broke and what you need to fixe it.

There are a few possible causes of this, so it's easier to explain how it works and how to find the fault. There is usually a wire or cord attached to each hinge. The cord is threaded anti-clockwise through a pulley then runs vertically up to near the top of the washer where it's attached to a spring. When looking at the side of the washer, the spring is usually about 2-3 inches back from the door and attaches about 2-3 inches below the top of the washer.

To find the fault you need to remove the side panel/s of the washer. It helps if you can identify which side has lost tension (it could be both) as this avoids removing one side panel unnecessarily. Once you have removed the panel, you should be able to see the back of the hinge and the pulley/cord/spring assembly. It should then be fairly obvious what the fault is - it could be a detached/stretched/broken spring, or a detached/broken cord.

Yes, it can be fixed. Sounds lilke just a matter of either fixing or replacing hinges/springs.

I put a 'piano' strip of brass hinge at the bottom of the door and on either side attached a length of brass chain - just like a drawbridge

yeah very easy and it should only cost at most about £10 undue the old hinge with the 2screws now the door will have two little covers that held the old hinge in place take these out and make sure u get the broken pieces out of them once u have the new 1 put it on the washer and screw down first and then place the covers on the ends of the hinges and put the door in place now redue the screws on the door
