Question about SanDisk Sansa e270 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Watching Uploaded Videos

I can't watch a video i uploaded on to a SanDisk Sansa e270. I converted it with the Sansa media converter and it still won't work. At first it was an "avi" but then i converted into a "Mpeg4" then converted it with the sansa media converter and it Says "Please use sansa media converter to convert this video file". Then tried paste-ing it in the Video folder as an "Mpeg4" and as a "avi", but it still says:"Please use sansa media converter to convert this video file".

photos and video must go through conversion with bundled software; the expansion slot can be used with music only.make sure you convert your video first.

Can not transfer video from my coputer to sandisk e270

You must use the Sansa Media Converter to transfer videos. If the video is DRM-protected (many of Real's movies are), it may not actually convert. But if the video is DRM-free, then the Sansa Media Converter will perform the conversion and load the video onto the player. The Sansa Media Converter may or may not recognize the Real file format, so you may need to download an additional program such as Riva FLV Encoder to convert the Real video to AVI format first - then the Sansa Media Converter will recognize the file.

There is a new release of the Sansa Media Converter that fixes an issue where the audio and video are out of sync on some videos - available from Sandisk's website:

I uploaded pictures, songs and videos into 1GB micro SD card. But in Sansa e250 am able to see only songs in it. am unable to view pictures or vidoes stored in SD card. please help me.

The Sansa will only show photos and play videos from its internal memory, not the microSD card. You can put music on the card, but not photos or videos.

What do I have to do to get videos and photos uploaded to my mp3 player.?

In respect to the device, media refers to music, photos, and videos.

To transfer music, you will need to use Windows Media Player, Rhapsody, or similar.

To transfer photos, or videos, you will need to use the Sansa Media Converter, which came on the installation disk.

There are many "How to Videos" on the SanDisk page that may help you in your plight;
