My 7200 quit suddenly and only uttered a slight whine... otherwise dead. Looking for solutions, I found this site and after reading other posts I decided to contact Neo32. I also confirmed on AVSForum his reputation and was not disapointed after having him repair my power supply. The 7200 is back in place, hopefully to give me more years of service. To me, having it repaired was a much better solution then researching a similar projector with a matching throw/screen and rebuilding the ceiling cabinet in the Theatre. Rob

1. plug the hard drive you are using into a pc and check the hard drive is recognise and works. 2. Delete all partitions 3. ensure it has a 8 bit cache buffer!! This is the most important one. That means the system only supports older hard drives. I got 2 second hand ones from the local pc store for $50. See the list of hard drives that are know to work below.
FYI for some reason the person I bought this off online "Ebay" had no idea how to support and I could not get support from their web site as they email they give just bounces back.
Without knowing where the sound is coming from, theres no way to know if it is important. Is it possible the noise is the ac clutch, and the ac compressor is locking up and killing the engine ?
