The code F1E2 refers to a watchdog circuit in the ERC (Electronic Control Card). This can only be corrected by replacement.

This is not always true, before wasting $180-240 for this part you should try this; Leave the range plugged in, turn off the circuit at the circuit breaker, wait 3-5 minutes, then power on the circuit breaker. I have cleared an F1E2 error this way that would not clear using the cancel or reset.

Code F1E2 on whirlpool electric range mean

This is not a good code and usually means the electronic control will need replacing. Try disconnecting the power for a couple minutes and if the error comes back, the control is bad and will need replacing.

F1e2 error code

F1E2 error code usually refers to something with the control board. I do not have info before me, but believe the board has to be replaced.
Package info somewhere inside your stove will give you the explanation of that error code.

It does not hurt to unplug the stove for fifteen minutes/turn it on again and see what the error code is, if any.

What does error code f1e2 mean and how to fix it

Problem with the board. First try tightening up the harnesses on the board; make sure the buttons are not stuck, turn oven off and on again and see what the code reads..if any.
Do not have exact explanation for error code but know that that is where your problem lies.

Whirlpool oven

if you get down to the control panel first try plug and unplugging all the connectors as resistance can cause this in the connectors next take the Mylar ribbon off the control and clean it softly with a pencil eraser as the touch pad malfunction can cause now if you have an ohm meter you can ohm the oven probe it should be 1200 ohms at 70 degrees room tempture if all this fails to fix it then replace the controls bd ive seen too many techs too quick to replace a 200.00 control board just because the eoc spouts out an error code
