Hello stizaliz,

Click on this link and you'll be at Onkyo's website. On the top right corner there's a search box. Type in your receiver model and enter. You'll be taken to the page where the owner's manual can be downloaded and all your connection questions will be answered.
Hope this helps. Let me know.

Onky TX-DS777, no sound from speakers

Are the speakers selected for A or B or AB check the speakers by using a 1.5 volt batter on the cable going to the speakers, if you get a sound from the speaker, you know they are ok, if not, speakers are faulty.

I have an Onkyo tx ds777 model and I can only get sound to come out of the front speakers on direct mode. Stereo or any type of surround sound produces no sound at all. I have tried with my mp3 player...

You don't say if all speakers work with the setup procedure. THAT is step 1. Then try FM as it doesn't require any cabling. Then move on to more complex sources like external analog, then digital (and make sure to assign the ports).

Home Audio problem

Have you looked in the manual for TROUBLESHOOTING: No Power?

It suggests unplugging the unit for a short time, then plug it back in, then check for a blown fuse, then take it to the ER.

My Onkyo TX-DS777 lost power. I believe this to be a blown fust, but am uncertain, any thoughts?

It seems like the internal fuse to me, too. But you could check to make sure that the receptacle works (maybe you've got a tripped breaker).
The manual also suggests unplugging and re-plugging the unit to clear "external noise" from the "computer circuits," but something tells me that you've already tried that.

Power light on, unit will not turn on with push button

When power was intermittant, were there any other discrepencies or audible power deprivation to the speakers? Your problem has many possibilites from fuses to major amplifier problems to common power supply failures. Being intermittant then dead may still be a simple fix, but not without some physical intervention of test gear. Sorry, Jaszy
