After installing my ge web minicam pro, it

First try a system restore (click start/accessories/system tools/system restore) on restore options it should have the time and date that you installed your hardware (if not chose one prior to installation) it will say installed ge webcam chose that and complete restoration. After it restarts check to see if your cd rom working. If it is not reopen system restore and select undo my last restoration ( since the problem still exists with the undo at least you will have your webcam back).

Try installing Service packs for your windows XP (SP 2 and SP 3). Please reply if this has helped you. Thanks.
