after installing my ge web minicam pro, it uninstalls my cd-rom, downloading the cd-rom driver again does not fix it, is there a patch available for windows xp-pro,i have seen one for vista but not xp?

- msn fix it does not solve this and a system restore does nothing.!!!! I found out that you have to remove the cd-rom and restart your computer, then shut it down and reinstall the cd-rom and search for new driver updates after you have installed the GE minicam pro ver.4, but thanks for your help anyways!
This fixed it.
First try a system restore (click start/accessories/system tools/system restore) on restore options it should have the time and date that you installed your hardware (if not chose one prior to installation) it will say installed ge webcam chose that and complete restoration. After it restarts check to see if your cd rom working. If it is not reopen system restore and select undo my last restoration ( since the problem still exists with the undo at least you will have your webcam back).
