Question about Office Depot Ativa DQ60M Shredder
Pull out as much of the paper as possible. Then spray some window cleaner or similar on whats left to soften and disolve it.

The misalignment message is about the catch bin and the shredder! NOT THE TEETH!
Check to make sure the shredder is properly placed on the catch bin. There is a built in safety mechanism in the Ativa MD460. When the shredder is replaced "backwards" the safety pin is not tripped.
Look for a curve in the lip on the back of the shredder and align it with the bin. Worse case, just pick up the heavy shredder top, turn the unit around 180 degrees and put back down. My light came on immediately.
