Warning: the LCD screen can be easily damaged if you open it up. If you do something wrong the screen might become completely unusable and you’ll have to buy a new screen. It’s very expensive. Think twice before you decide opening the screen. Continue at your own risk.

  1. First of all remove the battery from the notebook.
  2. Lift up rubber screw seals and remove all screws.
  3. Carefully separate the screen bezel from the LCD cover and remove the bezel.
  4. Remove the screws from the front and from both sides.
  5. Carefully remove the LCD screen from the cover and place it on the notebook base. Disconnect the video cable and the inverter board cable.
  6. Disconnect the screen cable and remove the inverter board by removing both screws holding it.
  7. Clean the terminals then reattach the cables firmly.

Vizio d50-f1 TV was sent for repair for another problem under warranty. Two days after we get it back, this line suddenly appeared. I researched and thought it was the t-con board. Ordered and replaced the...

THere are two causes of that line.; One is a loose cable inside the case. The other is a loose connection at the edge of the lcd panel.; If it is the latter they are hard to fix but you can tell if you gently press the area on the case where the line is. If it goes away it is the lcd and if not it could be a cable issue.

Vertical blue lines onscreen on the right side . Happens no matter what input including menu.. they appear over the menu . It's a Toshiba regza.

Vertical lines on an lcd screen are caused from the solder joints on the edge of the lcd panel coming loose. You can verify this by pressing on the edge of the screen above the lcd and the lines vanish. The fix is to either wedge something behind to hold pressure on it, solder it (which is difficult to do) or replace the screen.

Microwave will not run a cook cycle. Touchpad functions until door is opened or start button is pressed. When door is opened display goes dark. When door shuts display lights all characters and then says...

BEFORE DOING ANYTHING DISCONNECT OVEN FROM POWER. I do NOT recommend doing repair by yourself, if you NOT are really very familiar with electric repair, or have at least basic training in electric device repair and maintenance.
"When door is opened display goes dark. When door shuts display lights all characters and then says "touch clock"."
Obviously, by opening door, oven gets disconnected form power line.
This is mostly caused by loose connections on wiring socket, and can be anywhere inside. Check security micro switch on door latch. This switch normally disables only running the oven when door is open, for security reasons. In your case, it seems that opening door disconnects oven from input power. Sometimes the switch is loose, or wires are not firmly pushed in the socket. If the power line wiring is loose, and by opening door looses contact with socket, it can touch metal housing inside, cause short, electric shock, serious even mortal injury and fire. This is dangerous high voltage switch, and to access it one must open oven from the back and take off the cover. I do not recommend doing it by your self.
Rem: Replacement micro switch is couple dollars.

Lenovo 3000 N100 Screen Problem

First, plug a external monitor and toggle the screen to discard configuration or software problems. If the image displays correctly you have a problem either in the LCD screen or its connection cable.
Open the bezel and check for loose or damaged connection cable. Look specially next to the hinge, ON THE LEFT.
In case the problem is not the cable you might have to get a new LCD. You can have replacement parts and instructions here:

Intermittent double images and horizontal lines

Hello mucci2k,
You have one of two problem.
(1) You have a loose connection on your LDS cable going from your signal board to your T-Con board. The T-Con board s the board that is mounted directly to the panel. Its sits near the top of the panel in the middle.

(2) You have a bad T-con board. This board cannot be repaired. It must be replaced. I can tell you where you can find it

Best regards

Samsung side by side

This is an issue brought about by the defrost cycle. Usually, the condensate goes into a small pan under the unit where it evaporates. You will likely find that the tubes coming down from the unit to the pan underneath the box are clogged with dust. While you're there, clean the condenser coils.
