Re: speakers have not worked since purchased

Check The Computer's Volume Then Turn Off Your Cell phone because it might be interfering. Then play something on you computer to test the speakers. If that doesn't work try them on something else. Otherwise you need new speakers.

Re: speakers have not worked since purchased

My sound just went out one day. I could hear very low sound when I placed my ear to the speaker for awhile. I turn the volume all the way to the right as hard as I could pass the plus sign and the sound returned.

Hi Monde
Happy Holidays,
As you said, you have warranty yet, use it! but, if you don't wish to use ti, you can buy a new pair of speakers, and use with montego bay or creative labs, USB sound card, and see if work fine, this should fix the problem.

No sound from speaker acer aspire computer. Which are the correct slots I have a usb connection and a headphone type connector, type m1118b

Look down in the right corner of your sreen and find a small speaker icon. If you click on that icon it will show you if your speakers are muted, this happens sometimes by malware acting up and muting your speakers. If you right click on it it will tell you some more information. If you go into your control panel you have an icon that lets you do many more things with your sounds.

I just purchased an Acer X1300 computer with Windows Vista.I do not have info on how to activate the sound.

you should be able to activate the sound by checking in the right bottom corner to see if the speaker icon is there, if it is then click on it and increase the volume. If it is not showing go into control panel and click on sound. see if your device is recognized, if not you may have to install a driver for the sound to work. Hope this helps.

I have an acer cpu connected to my hp monitor with built in speakers...but I have no sound?

That is a common problem. You need to purchase some new speakers from your local Radio Shack or computer store.Plug them into your cpu. Very cheap fix about $10. The mix and match connection of the HP and Acer never seems to work. The HP monitor will work with the Hp computers but not others.

I have an acer laptop and i have an echoe in my sound... im not sure what the problem is. there is an internal mic i believe. help please! lol

Try right clicking on yout Volume Icon in the system tray (where your clock is). Click on Open Volume Control.
Make sure you have some audio playing, then just go through each channel and mute each one, 1 by 1 until the echo has gone.
If that don't work, then again, right click on Volume Icon in Tray, click on Adjust Audio Properties, then under speaker settings, select advance, then choose Desktop Stereo Speakers, under the Speaker Setup Options.

One of those should work. If it is your Mic causing the Echo, then you would get loads of feedback if you whack up the volume. If you don't get the feedback, then it's more then likely the Speaker Setup or some Sound FX is enabled through your Sound Card Software.

No sound from speakers

Usually you can see the speaker icon found at your task bar right side if the sound driver was installed. If not better re-install your sound drive.

Acer speakers no sound

You should tell the model of your acer or the sound card on it so that i can serach it for you. However you can search it by your own by simply going to the acer website and then search the model of your laptop and the go to the support and downloads. or selet your location and search your model.

may this help. melnavz
