User Manual OR how to adjust the picture settings...Picture on TV is Cut Off

I can not find my user manual anywhere and I searched online through the Samsung website where you can search for your user manual and it wasn't there. I was wondering if there is a similar model number to this one that might have the same user manual that I can download. I need it because I am having a problem with the picture on the screen. It seems to be cut off all around the edges if not mostly on the bottom. When I watch football games and they post the score on the bottom, I can't see it. I know you have to adjust the picture somehow, but my remote does not allow me to get into those settings and I am wondering how. I just need either a user manual or a way to fix my cut off screen. Thank you! user guide manual

Re: User Manual OR how to adjust the picture...

The owner (like myself WANTS a MANUAL), other things might need to be addressed in the future.

In my case I need a manual for my Samsung 24" flat screen. model cl25m6mqux/xap
this seems to be a simple thing BUT like the other clients have spent a lot of time fruitlessly searching. Please advise: HOW DO WE GET A MANUAL?

Re: User Manual OR how to adjust the picture...

Normallly, if the picture size button on the remote for the television does not achieve the desired affect, then, a cable box or a satelite box is where the change needs to be made.
For example:
A Motorola Cable box needs to be set up to go to a wide screen or zoom when an analog signal is detected.
Some Dish Network boxes have Size buttons on their remotes and also in their main menu.
It's difficult to determine the repair without knowing the types of the peripherals.
Hope this helps.

My Toshiba tv #32A33 WAS MOVED & RECONNECTED with the picture having black across the top & bottom having shrunk the picture, How can I adjust the black out?

Check whether it has been set to 'Wide' mode. If so, set it to normal. Refer its user manual for details. If this setting is OK, the vertical scan output section circuit to your TV should be troubleshooted. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Check the site in 'Mosaic' view. It will make search easy.

How do I set the aspect ratio on a Symphonic WF20L6

There is no aspect ratio adjustment can be seen in the user manual of your TV. Try change the aspect ratio of the picture by PC. If you are interested to get a copy of the user manual to your TV, send your email address to me, and get a copy of it by return mail.

I have this television, and all of the sudden the heads are being cut off. What do I adjust to fix this problem?

The picture has more height than normal I assumes from your problem post. Just try to adjust it by entering into the picture menu of the set. Refer its user manual for details. If this do not help you, you have to check the vertical scan output section of the set. it is on the main baord, usually composed of an IC and some components around. If any of the electrolytic capacitors connected to this section have a loose solder point or a damaged one, the fault you describe here can occur. If you are handy with electronic circuit boards, pull out the main baord, locate the vertical output section and resolder most of the suspected loose solder points there. If this does not help you, replace all the electronlytic capacitors in that section [usually 5 or 6 of them]. this must solve your TVs problem. The IC is alright now, otherwise you can't get picture vertically scanned. If the vertical output IC has damaged. you see only one bright horizontal line across the screen. Here picture is there, by the hight is excess than normal. OK.

Tv picture is getting too big for the screen. Can the picture size be reduced?

Hi, well this is most likely a Aspect Ratio issue, this can be set via the TV's Menu. You simply need to adjust this aspect ratio, to suit you viewing requirements.
It is all explained how to do this in your user manual, link provided below.'s-Manual-T0RVek16az.html
