Steady blink green light, WILL NOT RESET!

Hi, I have a Mitsubishi DLP TV model WD-52525. I had a power outage with the TV plugged into a top of the line surge protector. TV blinks a constant green light. It will not reset after several attempts over several days! This TV has low viewing hours (approx 500 tops) ( this TV in NOT our primary viewing TV)!! I paid top dollar for this TV and major problems, like this should not be happening with a unit with so few hours. Please help!!

- Can this repair be accomplished by a mechanically inclined person, but with zero tv repair experience??

Thats a common problem with that model which is the V26 chassis. The V26 DM repair kit available at www.tvrepairworld.com should repair that issue. The kit contains the replacement capacitors and the CD with detailed instructions its 35.99 which includes shipping

- Yes its basically very easy and the CD is very detailed with instructions. It requires very basic soldering to install the replacement capacitors.
