Please clarify your problem. It sounds as if your monitor isn't getting a signal, and is therefore going into power save mode. It could be a bad video adapter, or perhaps something as simple as a bad monitor cable, or it could be a power setting related to windows. Doubt that though. Please be detailed when describing your problem, and we'll be able to help you better.
