Hi Piet, The link below is a YouTube video showing how to fix a car that stops running whilst driving down the road, Also there's videos down the right side of the link that may help as well....................CHEERS.. Fixing Car That Shuts Off Randomly
run the fault codes and look for an electronic problem such as ignition control module, coils , ECM
this is indicated by the fact that it runs when these components are cold but with an internal short , the unit over heats and stops the current flow
Chances are its something electrical, but thats a big list. You'll have to rule out a few things and check for spark and fuel pressure when it won't start.
Change the fuel filter, when you start the car the fuel lines has had time for the small particles to drain out of the filter then when the engine runs they slowly work their way back to the filter and stop the fuel filter up again.
If it starts fine when cold or will restart after it cools down and run until the engine warms up, have your TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) replaced. I have seen quite a few lately that will "warm" up and cause the car/truck to gradually run rougher as the engine compartment heats up and once it sits and cools off will restart and run again. You can go to auto zone, advance auto, etc and have them run a free diagnostic test on your car and tell you for sure if any TPS trouble codes are stored
