The printer c43sx cartridge aren't moving properly bothside tell me how can i slove this problem

Inability to print with epson stylus c43sx just got given

loaded and software says ok - when open document to print the print screen comes up select print then a screen comes up saying to save as xps document, whether i hit save or cancel the document doesnot print. The ink and printer was in storage for a while - but there is ink in the cartridges. I am also unsure if I have put the paper in correctly - Thankyou for your help - Jan

The information is not being sent to the printer.
Check that the printer is set to default (has a ticl next to it) in Start/Printers and Faxes.
If your printer does not appear there then disconnect the printer and reinstall the drivers and software. Connect printer when told to by the install program.
