Phillips 60PL9200D/37 - Screen almost too Dark to watch

I have had this product for about 10 months and starting a day ago the screen is appearing very dark. Tried going through all the picture settings with no improvement. Any ideas I can try before shelling out some money to a repair center?

Sound no picture

Like stated before--May be another bad blub, especially if you used a generic or Neolux one. A phillips bulb WILL work right. Mits sets do NOT like generic bulbs !!

60PL9200D/37 TV picture problem

Sounds like one or both of your IC chips burnt out. You will need to replace them. A good place to purchase high quality IC chips is careful there are a lot of fakes out there that don't last and cost you more money in the long run.

My phillips 60 inch tv 60pl9200d/37 wont turn on the power button flashes blue

Look in the manual. (Page 4)

Turn the TV on From main supply: Ensure that the main supply is turned on. A blue indicator light on the front of the TV lights up. When the TV is turned on by the main supply, the blue indicator light will blink for 45 seconds. This is the lamp's start-up period. When the light goes off, press the POWER button on the remote control or power switch. Press POWER to turn on the TV.

More than likely the problem is the CRT fluid and not the tube. Do a few google or fixya searches on CRT fluid and to get an idea of what it looks like when it gets cloudy.
