Question about Proview PL926WBi 19" LCD Monitor

1 Answer

Zoomed in Monitor

My monitor's display seems to be zoomed in, which is causing it to be missing things on the display, such as the start menu. I am using this monitor for my laptop, of which the normal monitor is broken. I have tried changing the resolution but it is set on the normal setting of 1024 by 768 pixels. Any suggestions?

The image display on my Westinghouse 42" LED TV does not fit the screen. It is zoomed in, so when watching sports, i cannot see the score and time ticker.

Using the remote go to the menu for the TV. Look for picture or aspect ratio. Make sure it is set to 16:9 and not zoom or auto. That should clear the problem up.

Everything is zoomed in

My E19T6W 19" LCD monitor has a menu that keeps popping up on the bottom right corner of
my screen. Has been doing this continually since I got it. Changes from the eMachine monitor tour to resolution and contrast menus. I keep turning it off and within seconds it'll be right back. For the most part I just ignore it, but recently it has been driving me insane during movies.

The homescreen is very zoomed in. how do you make it smaller?

Most likely you are talking about your resolution. In windows right click on the desktop and go to properties in the popup menu. Once you get to the display properties go to the settings tab. Choose a resolution higher than tye one you currently have. Not all monitors support all resolutions available, so make sure to test each one before applying the settings. Once you find the one that looks good to you, click apply and then ok. Should fix your problem.

Have you tried adjusting the screen properties via Windows? maybe changing the resolution will fix it, and you can adjust the physical screen size too.

The monitor is giving a zoomed in view . its not giving the full view of the desktop screen rather a section of it is zoomed in . there are no settings to zoom out .??

ur setting may be set to low resolution...
try doing this
go to Desktop/right click/properties/Settings/Screen Resolution/
What do u c...what's the resolution there...800x600...
if the slider(pointer) is active use it to increase it to say 1024x768, 1152x864, 1280x1024 etc.
use the correct too much of resolution will make ur monitor un-viewable...
also try if ur monitor has some press button on them to make changes to the correct setting/zooming of the screen image...

Image/screen shifting with mouse position

I realized my issue was that the screen was "slightly" zoomed in using the universal access panel in the system preferences. Turning it off, or zooming out completely solved the problem.

Zoomed in Destop

go to ' display' 'properties' 'settings' and verify that the correct monitor is shown. If wrong monitor is indicated change it to the one you have. If resolution is not supported change it to one that is.
