Question about Proview PL926WBi 19" LCD Monitor

1 Answer

Zoomed in Monitor

My monitor's display seems to be zoomed in, which is causing it to be missing things on the display, such as the start menu. I am using this monitor for my laptop, of which the normal monitor is broken. I have tried changing the resolution but it is set on the normal setting of 1024 by 768 pixels. Any suggestions?

Hi, try to boot in safe mode (windows OS): at booting start press F5 or F8 key (don't know which one of them) and select VGA mode display. After booting in Safe Mode, you should be able to set required display resolution in Control Panel - Monitor - Resolution.

My E19T6W 19" LCD monitor has a menu that keeps popping up on the bottom right corner of
my screen. Has been doing this continually since I got it. Changes from the eMachine monitor tour to resolution and contrast menus. I keep turning it off and within seconds it'll be right back. For the most part I just ignore it, but recently it has been driving me insane during movies.

Have you tried adjusting the screen properties via Windows? maybe changing the resolution will fix it, and you can adjust the physical screen size too.

The monitor is giving a zoomed in view . its not giving the full view of the desktop screen rather a section of it is zoomed in . there are no settings to zoom out .??

ur setting may be set to low resolution...
try doing this
go to Desktop/right click/properties/Settings/Screen Resolution/
What do u c...what's the resolution there...800x600...
if the slider(pointer) is active use it to increase it to say 1024x768, 1152x864, 1280x1024 etc.
use the correct too much of resolution will make ur monitor un-viewable...
also try if ur monitor has some press button on them to make changes to the correct setting/zooming of the screen image...

2. Turn the shooting mode dial to any Shooting mode except for stitch_assist_icon_a70.gifor movie_icon_a70.gif.
3. In the [ rec_icon.gif(Rec.)] menu, select digital_zoom_icon_a70.gif(Digital Zoom).
digital_zoom_menu.gif 4. Select [On] using the left_arrow.gifor right_arrow.gifbutton and press the <MENU> button.
5. Press the zoom lever toward tele_icon_a70.gifand hold it.
  • The lens will zoom to the maximum optical telephoto setting and stop. Release the lever and press it toward tele_icon_a70.gifagain to further zoom the image digitally.
  • Press the lever toward wide_icon_a70.gifto zoom back out.
digital_zoom_lcd_a70.gif 6. Shoot the image.
  • Shooting procedures are the same as for the auto_mode_icon_a70.gifmode.
  • The digital zoom cannot be used when the LCD monitor is off.
  • images become coarser the more they are digitally zoomed.
  • Since camera shake may become a factor when using the digital zoom, the use of a tripod is recommended.
  • Digital Zoom is disabled when the [Postcard Print Mode] is selected as a image quality setting.
IF this fails, your camera is in need of service.

Zoomed in Destop

go to ' display' 'properties' 'settings' and verify that the correct monitor is shown. If wrong monitor is indicated change it to the one you have. If resolution is not supported change it to one that is.
