Compressor doesn't work any more

The unit ran well in our bedroom but was too noisy so we moved it to another room where it blew a fuse. We moved it to another room with a separate plug & now the compressor won't run. What to do?

replace it ...

Very expensive to replace a compressor. It is possible you blew a 'start capacitor'. This is not a cheap repair either.
