Question about Vivitar ViviCam 8300s Digital Camera
Power off remove batterys power back up might reset lens but more than likely something is making it bind
Error 2 indicates that lens is jammed / sticking, probally dirt/grit, you could try a dodgy fix withcompressed air in a can but do not use cleaning fluids. Really needs camera shop to strip clean rebuild, There is 12months warranty on your cam.

first off there are a few questions I have for you regarding what is going on with your camera.
What does the screen to your camera look like, setting aside the error message you are getting? Do you see any vertical bars or blotchy looks on it?
What was the last place you used your camera before it stopped working? Do you recall dropping it at all or possibly accidentially bonking it against something else?
Lastly, will it not opperate at all for you and only gives you the error message, or is that during a special operation on your camera?
Thanks for your inquiry. I'll be waiting for your reply.
