Transfering music Hi There i need some help im not sure if the problem is with Vista or my nokia N73 mobile, ive been trying to copy some CDs onto my MP3 mobile via downloading through the computer, the tracks transfer across to my phone but i am unable to play them back on my phone can you help me out with this problem.

With the Nokia 3650 or 3660 there are various ways to download music to the mobile phone. The first is to use the conventional data chord which connects to the phone and PC using PC suite then copy the song onto the phone.
Seccondly if your PC has bluetooth capability you could just send the music via bluetooth to the phone.
Finally you can take out the memory card on the phone and if you use a laptop slot the card into the memory card slot using a memory card adapter copy the music on the memory card and put the card back in your phone. Then you have to option of transfering from card to phone memory.

are you trying to copy music onto a cd disk or onto your ipod. If you are trying to copy music onto your ipod, you will have to clear the ipod of the music that was loaded onto it previously, because it will not detect your new settings on your laptop. An easy way to do this is copy over your itunes music folder onto cd/dvd from your old computer and paste the music into your itunes music folder on your laptop. When you open itunes go to file, import file, and choose your itunes music folder. (If it hasn't aready automatically picked the music up). This will put all of your music back into the itunes library. You will then need to create another playlist for your ipod. Reset your ipod in itunes mode and upload your new playlist onto it. If you have vista on your laptop then you may need to download the lastest version of itunes. You can do that by going here> http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

Try pairing your device to another mobile and try listening music with it.If it works, either the settings on you Nokia N73 need to be changed, either is not fully compatible with the phone.As a last resort you can reset to default the settings on your mobile.Upgrading the firmware I do not recommand doing it, even from an official site, cause it can turn be very unstable.

Try this. Turn off your phone, then turn it back.
While its turning press and hold the following buttons:
Call, 3, *

This should be a hard reset button that will restore your n95 to its original settings.

i would suggest you use the Nokia PC Suite. the CD is included in the package or download it in this link http://europe.nokia.com/A4144905 . It will create a Phone Browser as part of your Windows Explorer.
