Hi i have been using motorola canopy for 6 months now and with no problems until recently i just couldnt get any signal.contacted my ISP and they reset the radio but couldnt get any signal.Tried from another location but with same problem.They reset the radio but with nothing.They tried another radio and worked perfectly.The power supply to the radio is ok.Wot could be the problem as I cant afford to purchase another radio

the radio has had an internal breakdown, possibly a transmitter or receiver failure. The only thing to do would be to replace or repair the unit. How old is it, as it may be under Motorola warranty if its less than a year. If it's not, you could contact Motorola support, and find out if they offer "flat rate" repair.....I know they do this for all of their 2 way radios and pagers, and the cost for repair is usually around 1/4 of new pricing. If you do get in touch with Motorola support, and have the unit's serial number handy, they will be able to tell you if its still under warranty. 1 888-605-2552 is the support number for Motorola canopy. They would be able to tell you if Flat rate repairs are available, and where to send the unit.
