Sounds like you need to recharge or replace the battery. If the voltage is too low for the internal processor it will just turn right off again to save any remaining power.
Does not look good. The fact the charger light won't change colour, could mean the battery can't get enough charge. The voltage stays too low. Check if the battery is put in correct in the camera.Check if the battery contacts are clean and shiny. also check the contacts in the camera. If you need to clean the contacts, don't use anything sharp. just a dry cloth or cotton swabs. Sharp tools will damage the camera and or the battery. If you have an external (universal) charger, try to charge the battery outside the camera.
I did write lots of things about batteries, because they are the most common reason for camera malfunction.
Check that you are using the correct type of batteries and that they are rechageable as i found i had a similer problem when using just normal non recargeable
You cant use regular batteries on these cameras. I have the same one., you need to buy rechargeable batteries or lithium batteries, both are stronger,but more costly than your regular alkaline batteries. This will defrinatly fix the problem..I am 100% positive,.They sell recharg- able batteries ar walmart for like $20.00 taht comes with 4 aa batteries and the pulg in charger.
Are you sure that your batteries were fully charged? I have the same issue when using shop bought aa batteries - or they don't last very long at all.
That 3 beeps and turning off is what should happen along with a "battery low" error message on the screen from experience.
When I bought the recommended charger and two batteries from Amazon - they lasted a lot longer. Search the website for the charger battery code suggested in the instructions.
