Xbox 360 keeps crashing any ideas

It sounds more like a problem with the graphics chip. If the console overheats it will generate two red lights. The freezing issue could be a problem with the solder on the graphics chip or could be the DVD drive having problems reading.

You probably have it in a small space and it's overheating. Check to make sure it's getting enough air and there are no heating vents blowing on it. It could also be full of dust. If you think dust is the culprit, go to your local computer store and buy some canned air. Blow air through the back (the fan ports) but make sure the can isn't upside down! Xbox 360's are known to have a lot of problems though so contact Microsoft if problems persist. I hope this helps!
