If your up to it, give it a try its not that bad. Just remover the cover and restring it be careful of the spring. Go to your nearest sears hardware and pick some brains there, if your not sure how to get started.

Why won't my Poulan leaf blower pull cord turn motor over?

If the recoil is spinning free and you feel no resistance either the engine is damaged or the recoil dogs are not engaging. Fixing either of these at a shop will likely cost more than buying a new unit.

What is the compression on a poulan leaf blower?

60 to 70 psi it will start fine. I fix Poulan blowers every day for a living
they are very easy to fix. A common problem is stuck piston ring.

MY POULAN LEAF BLOWER PULL CHORD DOES NOT REWIND AS THE RESULT I CANNOT START THE BLOWER

This is a fairly common problem. Take a flat head screwdriver, place it through the holes in the starter cover and move the plastic inside gently. This should jar it loose and allow the cord to rewind.

I was replacing pull cord and the tiny bar which connects the trigger to the carb fell off before I could see how it was installed. I canot figure out how it goes back. It is a Bvm 200 25cc Poulan leaf...

It should be pretty simple to replace. Would expect the trigger to come out, put the rod/bar on the carb then on the trigger (probably has to swivel the trigger to get the part on) the set trigger back in it's position. Hope this helps. Easier to do than explain.

Cord broke for my leaf blower-how do I fix?

Remove the starter mechanism from the blower motor. Either purchase the same size cord from a saw service shop, or just have them fit a new cord to the starter if you don't feel comfortable about replacing the new cord. Good luck!

I have a 25cc weedeater leaf blower that will not idle. I found that the fuel line broke off at the filter inside the tank. Do I need to replace the line and filter or the tank assembly?

Order a new fuel filter and fit it on the existing line...unless the line is brittle and breaks easy in which case you would replace the line. The fuel lines pass through the tank and are fairly easy to replace plus they ahve the added advantage of being cheaper than a new fuel tank.
