System Remote Control Wire.

Hey, I do not know what type of control wire I need for my pioneer GM-5100T amp, I have a Pontiac G6, I also don't know what type of ground wire or 'special red battery wire', or the 'connecting wire with RCA plug pins' I need to purchase, nor do I know how expensive they usually are and if it would be cheaper to just get it installed?

Wal Mart generally has 4g wiring kits for ~$40. Some of the kits contain everything you'll need to install your amp (including RCA cables, fuses and fuse holders).

Amp has power but sub won't play

The system control is just a fancy name for Remote Turn On. It is usually blue on the back of most decks.

The Pioneer GM-5100T wiring help?!!

i just sent you the manual for your am everything you need to know is in there. i also have tht plug if you need it. but will only be used for high level inputs for factory radio's if you have a after market radio use your rca jacks. or if you want you could use a converter if you have a factory radio that makes speakers outputs from the radiointo rca jack that will go into the amp. the rca'sare the best way it will sound much cleaner. good luck

Amp dosnt work right

your amp cant handle the impedance of your subs i.e your running a 2ohm sub on a 4ohm amp!

Change the wiring on the sub so instead of running at 2ohm your run at 4

if you need to know how to wire up your sub to run at 4 then take a look at this wiring diagram

take a look at option 2

Hope this helps if so please dont forget to rate :)
