If I understand your request correctly, you wish to control the camera via laptop, Nikon offers "Camera Control Pro 2" that can do just that, and more. It can be purchased at many camera stores, some software stores and online stores as well. Additionally, it may be downloaded from Nikon directly for $180. A link to the product page is below:
