I need to update the firmware on my Motorola br700 router. I can access and log into the router OK via my browser but when I try to update the firmware it just seems to freeze and/or seem like it's taking far too long. It has a "browse" option also next to the "update" option, so I'm guessing I have to download or have the firmware update file there in order to update it, only problem is, I can't seem to find it anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers.
If that is the problem, before do the update of the firmware try first to reset the router so it will be back to its default settings and then after that continue with the firmware upgrade.......

hi iv got a sitecom wl-143 wireless router and a phillips snb5600, both of which support wds, i have given both the routers te same ssid and they are on the same channel, they also have the same wpa2 key, one is a dhcp server the other should therefore pick up a ip for all computers connected to it. i have also added the mac addresses to each of the routers for the wds. how ever they will not connect. my computer connected to the second router (sitecom wl-143) sees the router as a gateway but it doesnt connect or give out ip addresses. any ideas?

I am having a problem with my fairly new Motorola BR700 Modem. I have started to lose my internet connection, bit by bit. I have tried resetting the modem, which brings the connection speed back up, but gradually, the speed drops off bit by bit, until I have little to no internet connection. This did not happen at first, but is now happening constantly.
Any help appreciated.
