Hi, i was carrying out a bios update on my toshiba equium A60 laptop. it dicided to freeze on me, i tried to turn the power off this didnt work i ended up removing the battery. when the battery was replaced i tried to turn it on but no power any advice.
That does not sound good. If the Bios update was incompleted and the BIOS ROM was erased then the computer might be dead. You would need to take it to someone who can pull the bios chip and re-burn it using a device or burn the bios to a new chip and then install it. Whenever you are updating your bios you are taking a risk and that is why they tell you to only update when you are having computer problems. And never update a Laptop on battery powern alone. I am not saying that you did I am just giving advice.
