I think your partner is suffering from chikungunya, just ask her if she is also having joint pain or fever. If she agrees then go and consult a doctor.

You could try to find a set of gmc equivalent seats, the gmc seats are fully adjustable and should bolt right in. Also I have a friend who says caddy escalade seats will fit.

at the seat the bolts that hold it to the post when you loosen them the seat angle can then be adjusted

The seat lock and the white button that adjusts the seat angle are linked. Try having the seat frame level and not on an angle when you fit it.

To adjust the seat for height, there is a locking bolt on the seat post, below the seat. Loosen this and the seat should drop down the hole. Lift it up to your specified height and tighten up the bolt. You can also use this method to adjust the direction of the seat in relation to the handlebars, left or right.

If you need the seat adjusted for its angle. Under the seat itself are two bolts clamping two large circular bits of metal, undo these bolts and tilt the seat downwards or upwards, retighten when you have it just right.

1. Tighten the bolt on the seat-post of your bike's seat if your seat is a bit shaky. You may need to replace this bolt if it is rusted or withered.

Most seat fittings are standard and you can very well replace with a different type.if you search carefully there are some models which has sprng in them which act like shock absorber.

i have all the info you need..had to do this on my brothers care...short answer is the cables stretch inside their housings.. once seat is removed you trim the casing around the cables 1/4 and reinstall the end caps on each one to make them match their paired partner cables..stupidest thing bmw ever did having two cables to control each movement causing the chairs to twist and buckle like that..compare at $1000 to have qualified service do it for you...
