Question about Canon MV600i Mini DV Digital Camcorder
I took my camera to the service centre in Melbourne (Burwood) and they sent it to Sydney and fixed it without charge. It is an inherent problem with these cameras. I took a printout from this site, as other people had problems and had them resolved by Canon. In an ironic twist, it was stolen when my house was burgled a week after it was fixed! I now have a little digital number that I love!

Please someone help with this. My camcoder works very well when watching things I've filmed before but when I want to record it does not function. All I get on the LCD screen is the blue screen with Canon on it and through the lens it is black. The lens cap is of course removed. Then when I turn the red button to off position the camcoder does not turn off and the screen remains blue. I have to remove the battery to turn it off.
I've had my camera for 4 years and I filmed so many precious family moments in it.
