The door opens with the remote control on my raynor door. The keypad is non responsive. Someone said there is a battery and I don't know how to replace. Help!!

on the back of your garage door opener there is a colored learn button--press and release-the learn indicator light will glow for a short time usually 30 seconds. within thirty seconds press and hold the buton on the hand held remote that you wish to operate your garage door. release the button when the motor unit lights blink. if you don;t have a light, two clicks will be heard. it has learned the code. procedure will be different for multi function control.
Unplug the opener and remove the bulb. Use a small screwdriver to pry out on the center contact in the light socket. Replace the bulb and plug in the opener.
You need to locate your learn button. It will be located in the receiver box ( on the back of the motor, with a wire hanging down), Pop off the Nameplate on the receiver box. you will find a green yellow or red button. push the button and an LED comes on for about 30 seconds, during the 30 seconds go to keypad, enter a new 4 digit code. press and hold the enter button on keypad. DONE Note: if you have sensors on your door, you do not want to walk throught them, or the keypad will not program

Setting the code: 1. Press and release the "learn" button on the motor unit. The learn indicator light will glow steadily for 30 seconds. 2. Within 30 seconds, enter a four digit personal indentification number (PIN) of your choice on the keypad. Then press and hold the ENTER button. 3. Release the button when the motor unit lights blink. It has learned the code. If light bulbs are not installed, two clicks will be heard.
Open the back of the remote, change the order of the pin switches inside your remote. Then Go to receiver box ( on back on Motor) Open name plate to locate your learn button, Push the learn button, an LED light comes on for 30 seconds. During the 30 seconds, push the button on the remote and you are done

I DON'T KNOW THE RAYNOR PRODUCT. HOWEVER, WITH MOST OTHER BRANDS THE PROBLEM YOU DESCRIBE CAN BE SOLVED BY SWAPING THE POSITION OF THE SENDING RECIEVING EYES THUS GETTING THE ONE THAT IS BEING AFFECTED IN THE SHADE
