Re: sansa e200 froze

I had the same problem. hold the off button down until it eventually turns off. then keep it off for about a minute then try to turn it back on. it helped me a bit but now everytime i try to listen to that song it cuts off. well good luck. :DD

Good morning, afternoon, evening or night; whatever time of day you are viewing this solution post. Thank you for choosing FixYa to assist you with your problem. You want to download a driver for the SanDisk Sansa e200 MP3 Player, but you can't do it from the manufactuer's website? Well, I might be able to help you out here.
  1. Connect your Sansa to your PC.
  2. Go into your PC's Control Panel.
  3. Locate the Hardware and Sound link, then click it.
  4. If you see a link that says "Device Manager", click that. If not, type it in the search box.
  5. Locate the Universal Serial Bus Controller group and expand the tree (click the + button).
  6. Find your device, right click it, then click Update Driver.
  7. When the computer asks you how you want to search for the software, choose "Search automatically for updated driver software". Your operating system will search your device's files and the Internet to find the latest software.
If that does not work, there are some websites that you can go on that will scan, locate and update your device drivers installed on your PC and other connected hardware.

Sansa e200 freeze problem

I had that problem a few times you just have to reset it. Hold down the power button for 15 seconds, maybe 20 but that should do it. Then it will reset its self and turn back on.

My computer doesn't recognize my Sansa E200

Make sure player's usb menu is set to MSC, so computer will recognize it. Not sure why, but sometimes it helps to try another usb port on the computer. Good luck.

Sansa e200 won't turn on

The same thing happened to mine. I tried to charge it and the blue light remained on. After an hour or so of trying to charge I disconnected it and pressed the on button and held it for 30 seconds and the light went off and I could turn it on. I then charged it and it appears to be working.
