i don't have any other phones hooked up, although when i plug a rotary phone in its place, that phone works alright..

i reset the phone, by unplugging both the phone jack and ac plug, waiting 1-2 minutes...lets me call once out then quits.

tried to take the battery out and put it back in. nothing.

i tried to put it in another phone jack same situation.

Just wondering if any one has the component yet? I also have the "line in use" message and can not even call out only recieve calls. We have reset it a few times with no luck so I am sure cordlessguru is correct that it is an internal problem. All the Panasonic site says is send it in for repairs but I am not up for the repair bill. I found on their site many capacitors available. I figure the phone is shot so why not try and fix it myself.

I have the "line in use" issue also which also prevents all other phones in the house from working. Unplugging the phone from the jack does not seem to cure the issue and found that shorting the incoming phone wires (when the phone is unplugged) is the only quick reset. When the Panasonic phone is plugged back in I can make one call then the issue returns.

You have a blown component in the machine, pretty common, bet it happened after a storm passed through. Its shorted and always keeps the phone "off hook" which allows one phone call once you plug it in, but it will always be busy if left plugged in and is called. I can only recommend sending it somewhere for repair. Try googling "cordless telephone repair" for your best options.

Led display does not work on my panasonic 5.8Ghz phone KX-TG5632

I just spoke to Panasonic Tech Support about the LED screen being blank. FYI its blank on both my handsets - one which I never even use. He made me do a few button presses, etc but nothing worked. So he tells me I have a "loose connection on the LED" so I must have dropped the phone or something. I said NO, I never dropped the phone, and one of the handsets I never even used - and its happening on that one too. So bottom line you have to take it to a Panasonic repair center at your own expense if its over the one year warranty - for what I personally think is a flaw on their phone design. I think after so much time the LED screen just goes away...since its happening on both handsets, and neither of them were dropped. Its a shame because the phone works fine, but I need the LED screen for the mute button, etc. So my solution for you is to stay away from Panasonic phones and the lame customer support, and go buy a different brand.

Try to forward a call from a panasonic KX-TG5632 phone to a cell phone and can't find the solution

the land line module should have the forwarding feature and also the service provider should allow it . consult the customer care if the service is available at your location.

Sorry but could you re-confirm the model number, as the post heading shows KX-TG5632 and the text of your query shows it as KX-TG7223E ? ( Panasonic site does not recognise the latter ) Thanks.
