Question about Mitsubishi VS-50803 50" Rear Projection Television
When I plug it in it turns on by itself and then will start to turn on/off by itself unless I'm in the main menu. Can I fix this myself? Any advive would be greatly appreciated.
This is just a suggestion because I had a similar problem with a Zenith TV many years ago. It was something in the tuner/remote sensor circuit that made the TV randomly turn on or off. You may have to have it repaired by a technician, but here is something to try: Put tape over the remote sensor eye on the front of the TV. This is to make sure some stray light is not turning off the TV.
