This is just a suggestion because I had a similar problem with a Zenith TV many years ago. It was something in the tuner/remote sensor circuit that made the TV randomly turn on or off. You may have to have it repaired by a technician, but here is something to try: Put tape over the remote sensor eye on the front of the TV. This is to make sure some stray light is not turning off the TV.

Dtv on menu is greyed out

" Put TV on standby and then push in series these buttons on the remote: 'info, menu, mute, power' the TV will then turn itself on and display a menu. Press the 'down arrow' until option 12 - 'reset' and then press the 'right arrow' to enter the option. TV will turn off and when you turn back on it will start in 'plug & play' mode as if new. Set the time and country options and then it will perform a complete scan. I've just retuned mine and all back to normal."

I have a TV Vizio Model N E420i-B0 that after a while turn itself of. Some times comes back on by itself, but most of the time you have to unplug it, wait for a while and plug it before turn on again

A lot of vizios do this, try a factory reset and see if that works. go to menu on remote, then click on system, then click on reset and admin, follow info to reset. God-Bless! make sure the timers are turned off first.

My wm2455h turns on by itself and after some time, it turns off. What is causing this>

It seems that the Main Control Board of your washing machine is playing up. The fact that when you unplug the machine from the mains, the main control board resets itself and you are able to start the machine points in this direction.

My laptop wont boot up and just resets itself help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try this turn off.Restart hold F8 Key. A menu will ask How to start, Chose Safe Mode.
If unit starts you will have limited use to find out what is causing the issue.Go to start click it then chose system restore and chose a date that unit started(you will lose some programs that were installed after that date but not data in files. If you don't want to use system restore you can try to 1.remove a new program that you installed and is causing the problem.2 disconect any new start and click control panel, system, device manager, hardware and look for anything yellow, expand if you can to see any yellow ! marks thats your problem.Remove uninstall unless you need it.Restart,I have used System Restore many times it will fix your PC.Good Luck

On shutting down my laptop it gave the message, "installing 1 of 1" do not turn off your computer. It did not turn off all night. I turned it off by using the on/off button then shut it down...

When you start your laptop, press F8. You will get a menu (Normal boot, Reboot...). Choose Last good known configuration (something like that).
