Coils freeze up in freezer and fridge gets warm

freezer was left cracked open over night and now the coils frerze up in freezer and fridge gets warm in a ge side by side

- so if freezer is not completely dry will it cause it to do it again

You have to completly thaw out the the freezer and dry off all moisture with paper towels then turn back on be sure to wipe the rubber seals down so no moisture is pulled out of the air between the seals of the door and cabnet.

- Yes you have to dry it out or the mositure will return. after each door opening it will draw more moisture out of the air each time we open it.
