Alpine cde 7825 will not function properly

My mother had her vehicle repaired, they disconnected the battery and only the CD will function, the tuner will not. Is there a code or series of buttons I need to push to alleviate the problem? Thanks

You must have a faceplate from that exact model, no others will work. You can try to contact Alpine for a replacement. If it is any consolation, someone has a useless faceplate, because it won't work with anything else, either. Try running an ad in your local lost & found column, you just might get lucky, especially if you offer a reward.

SOURCE: how do I set the clock in Alpine CDE-9872 CD receiver?

From the Owners Manual for the CDE-9872:

FixYa won't allow images larger than 150k, so that's why this is a little blurry.
I hope this helps! Please post rating, if it does.

SOURCE: Alpine CDE-102 w/usb port: will not

Hello desoren,

The receiver may not be set to recognize MP3 files.

Press and hold "sound setup" until the unit enters setup mode. Rotate the volume knob to "play mode" and press "enter". Check that the setting is CD/MP3 (not CD/MA), or rotate the volume knob to change the setting to CD/MP3 and press enter again. Press and hold "sound setup" again until the unit exits sound setup.

If the files are still not recognized, I'd try using a different USB drive, a different computer to write the MP3's, and/or a different application to download or rip the original music content.

Hope this helps.

Where is fuse in Alpine CDE 9842 Car Reciever?

Had to take the vehicle back in to the repair shop. Good thing. Found smaller fuses blown and wires crimped behind stereo in dashboard. Told this could have been the original reason for main fuse failing. Works like a charm now, auto antanna raises, seatbelt light beeps and security system lights up. Stereo also works.

No sound from front speakers during CD operation.

I think you are using an external amplifier,if this is the case, you may be using the wrong remote wire for the amp.
Alpine use two blue wires,BLUE (only) this wire is for the pwr antenna and every time you insert a cd, this pwr line cut out.
BLUE/WHITE STRIPE this is the remote wire that you need to connect the remote of the amplifier.
