How can I change the contacts in my AVAYA EU24? it's connected to a AVAYA 2420

In the user manual of the EU24 you can't find anything about changing contacts. My guess is, you only can read the contacts already stored in your 2420. So I think you only can change contacts in the phone. When you are 100% sure you could change it on the EU24 to, please let me know and I will try to find out how.

Two extension phones won't ring but all other functions work fine for our AVAYA system. These extensions are plugged in to our expansion module I suspect the module is defective and need instructions on...

Power the carrier off. Pollow the power cord on the right side of the 5 slot carried. There will be a pull switch or a rocker switch. turn off.

Once power out, remove bad module, there is a tab on the top OR bottom depending on the age of your carrier. Pull card away from wall, and insert new card.

Power system back up.

Power went out then when it came back on we did not have phone service. We have the 3 box set up and the middle box does not have a power light on not sure if that is a problem or not

Yes, that middle light is the processor. Try powering off, and while power off, push on that middle card so it makes a good connection. Then power back on.

Rosemount rs3 dcs,

A CTP Panel allows up to 8 comm lines (01-08) for an RS3 controller (A-H). Each controller then allows you to address jumper four FIMS per comm line (A-D) in a daisychain. Depending on which comm line you use and which address you have jumpered, will automatically define your FIM address and the addresses of the 16 points to be configured on your FIM.

I agree with Don, you need to know what you already have hanging from the controller. Type FS (FIC Status) to show what you have configured in all of the theoretical 32 FIM positions. Drop me an email if you need specific help, we are RS3 experts!
