Ok if you have power and water to the machine, unplug for 5 min then reconnect and test from beginning. I would look at the door- close/saftey switch first then try a different setting on the selection switch. If no luck its time to call a repair man.

Finally the washer must be placed with a tilt- use a spirit level- so that all water will drain to the outlet port and thereby there is no residual water remaining.

Can't get the image I'm looking for but if this is like most front load washers, there is a screw in each upper corner of the back of the machine. Removing those allows you to slide the top back and then lift off.

hello any spin problems can be caused by the module control board usually sits at the back of the washer may have a load of wires coming off it hope it helps

yoou need to check the drain pump for an obstruction.you can use a wet dry shop vac attach it to the end of the drain hose to remove all the water.once the water is removed.take off the hoses from the drain pump and check to see if there is something stuck in it or blocking the pump if none of these things are present you may have to replace the drain pump.good luck with your washer.let me know how this works for you.

Hi there, my washing machine was doing the same as the one you have mentioned.
I bought a replacement timer from the website highlighted below. It has done the trick and every programme works properly now.
A competent DIY person can change one of these easily and will take about 30 minutes to do.

motor winding or wiring has shorted to chassis ground. unplug the motor connections and see if fuse still blows. if you have a multi meter use it to find the shorted conductor. there may be a black spot where its insulation has broken down and arced to ground.

slid the machine out away from the wall and tilt back enough to see underneath. just below the door there is a large concrete weight. chances are it is loose and needs to be tightened. if this problem has been going on for a while the bolts holding the weight on will have snaped and the drum/weight or both will need replacing . ( ex hoover engineer)
