Epson cx4600 printer has all lights flashing

I have a epson cx4600 printer, it was working well until it was turned off in the middle of a letter I was printing, now all lights are flashing and the repair manual says to send the unit in for service, I believe it is a software issue with the printer, is there any repair software that can be downloaded to the printer internally?
