Well, believe it or not, this problem is a common one, but is usually the fault of the user, not the laptop.. as you are typing, you are probably, without knowing it, touching the Touchpad, which moves your mouse cursor to another part of the screen or page..
I cannot tell you how many times that I have gone to a customer's location only to find that this is the cause..
