Looking for universal remote for Dynex brand tv.

Well, 'universal' is fundamentally not true anyhow. If your set is newer than the remote, the remote cannot have the complete code set built in and likely no other will either. There are no 'standard' code sets and even if your model was listed, it may not control more than power, volume and channel.

If you want a multibrand/multidevice remote, find one you like, go to the manufacturer's website and check the code list for that particular model number to see if it will be of any use to you before buying it.

NONE of the 'universal' remotes have all the codes sets of all the devices past, present and future. It is a lie and a technical impossibility. ------- While you might find one that can learn to some extent although I have one of those and it won't 'learn' from every other IR remote either.
