If it went out again then you probably need convergence chips, adjusting probably wont fix, call a tv repairman.

Contact the authorized service center for Sony. So many adjustments have to be done after T'Con boar replacement. You can do it, if you are an expert engineer specialized in electronic engineering. If not, please do not make the set irreparable by doing more adjustments that you do not know. OK?

    Aspect ratio - postion problem

Unless you can control the aspect from your front panel controls, there are adjustments that can be made from the back. You might not be able to reach them yourself. If not you may have to call in a repairman to do it for you.

If this is an old 52 projection with bad color your oil in the tubes may need to be changed, focus & screen can be adjusted to improve picture. Changing oil is something a tech defintly has to do. Call a local tech & get pricing. Then u can weigh your options. Also tubes may be weak. If they need to be changed probably won't be worth it.

No you will need to repace compents. Do you know how to solder and use a meter? If so I can assist you with the repair. If not you will need a repairman, he will cost you about $300-$500 for the fix.

    Picture WAY messed up!!

Go to menu, and under video or picture, go to advance setting and then go to convergence. This TV should be equipped with and automatic convergence adjustment. Just follow the instruction on you owners manual. If this does not fix it, it means that your convergence chips are shot, and you will need to have a train repairman fix it.
